Peugeot 206 1.9diesel w reg - Engine starting problem - iturn
Hi,my 206 would not start unless I spray with easy start then It runs fine.there was no fuel getting to the ignitors when I turned it over initially.would a blocked fuel Filter cause this to happen?any advice appreciated.there is power to the glow plugs and stop start solenoid.

Fuel filters do need changing regularly but I doub't it would stop it from starting. Have you slackened the feed pipe nuts to check for injected fuel? Can you hear the fuel solonoid operate when you turn the ignition on? What voltage do you have on the glowplugs?

Power getting to the glow plugs doesn't necessarily mean they are glowing, worth checking.
