Certain dashboard warning lights are an automatic fail, such as the engine management light, ABS warning light or airbag warning light. If a warning light is present to indicate that the stop-start system is not functioning, it is unlikely that this would result in a failure as it is not a safety-critical item, but we cannot rule out the possibility of it being failed based on the opinion of the individual tester.
