Hi, was driving earlier and felt a small nut hit the top of my foot. It had fallen down from above the pedal area on my 2010 Qashqai. On closer inspection (with a torch!) I spotted a small bolt/screw sticking which appeared to be missing a nut.

Any idea what this is? I've taken a picture showing the bolt/nut in question - it's high up above the brake pedal area. You can see it at http://img1.jpegbay.com/gallery/001870822/1_f.jpg
