Car stopped yesterday whilst driving on B road. loud noise from engine then loss of power. No warning lights, oil pressure and temp guage were normal. No leaks detected. Nothing showing on diagnostic. The car is being towed to Seat dealer tomorrow for a closer look. I bought the car 10 months after first registration by Seat UK with zero miles on the clock. the car would officially be 4 years old in Feb 2012, so technically I have driven the car from zero miles within 3 years. On reading blogs it sounds like an oil pump.Any suggestions out there. I wonder whether Seat will cover the cost of repair, as this fault seems to be common.
