Vauxhall Astra MK4 - Tyre Pressures - SomeoneElse

Hi there,

I have been filling my tyres PSI up to 34 PSI all round for the past few months. My tyres are 205/50 R16's. My question is, am I filling these up correctly because the front two tyres seem to be quite flat and sluggish at times, and showing at 35 PSI on the machine?? Can somebody verify any tyre pressures please? My car details are below..

Vauxhall Astra MK4 2001 Y-Reg - Standard tyres at 205/50 R16.

Any information will be grateful, thanks in advance.

EDIT: I have checked all tyres, and there are no foreign objects in them, such as nails or anything. The tyres tread is perfectly fine etc..

Handbook or sticker on door pillar will tell you.

It just depends. Manufacturers recommendations are very low to avoid skidding in any conditions.

It's a while since I sold my W-reg Astra but for that the tyre pressures should be 32 front / 28 rear in normal use, 36 /32 fully laden. That's checked cold, first thing in the morning before using the car.
