My auto C Max has developed an intermittent fault inasmuch as when selecting D or R it occasionally leaps forward or back and then stalls. In addition at low speed when slowing down to corner etc the engine appears to 'hunt' and occasionally when coming to a halt the car will surge forwards and stall.

It sounds expensive but wonder if others have experienced the same problem.

My local Ford dealer has looked at it recently and can't find anything wrong.
