Can I mix runflat and non-runflat tyres?

The front tyres on my 2022 BMW 118i will soon need replacing (225/40 R18 Y XL). Does anyone make all season run flat tyres and would be it ok just to have them on the front till the rear ones need replacing? Currently fitted with ordinary Continental non-run flats.

Some manufacturers do offer an all-season tyre with runflat capability. Looking on blackcircles.com for your tyre size, we would suggest looking at the Michelin CrossClimate+ Zero Pressure or the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF 2. However it is not recommended to mix runflats and non-runflats on the same vehicle, as the different construction of the sidewall could result in unwelcome handling characteristics and is potentially illegal.
