How long do I have to pay premium tax?

Currently my road fund licence is £600,00 per annum how many years will I have to pay this high rate of road tax for? Does it fall to the normal level of road tax after this initial period?

Assuming your vehicle cost more than £40,000 when new and you are paying the premium VED rate as a result, this additional sum will need to be paid until the vehicle is six years old.
