SD Cards - Ben 10

Last weekend was our daughters 16th .My wife bought her a sealed pack of SD cards for her digital camera from a supermarket.

Last night I transferred all the photos she had taken onto our computer. The first half dozen photos were of scenery in a mountain range , not professionally taken, and a shot of a person in the last picture. How can this be, seeing as the cards came in a sealed pack. Any ideas how these got on the SD card and has anyone else experienced the same thing?
