ford fiesta 2009 1.4 tdi - smell of turps from bonnet - vonjar

i have a strong smell of turps coming from bonnet and can smell in car as well my car has a three year warranty would the problem whatever it is be fixed under warranty any help would be appreciated

Could be diesel leaking somewhere - I don't know what else would smell remotely like turps. Have a good look at the top of the engine, you should be able to see a damp patch somewhere if its leaking.
