Reversing out this morning, I scraped the front wheel quite badly against the garden wall. At one point I was jammed against the wall. I tried forward, reverse, then finally forward to get away. Front bumper and front wheel trim are badly scuffed.
The car drove OK , then after 20 miles the engine light started flashing. The engine sounded ropey and struggled to go up hills
Arriving at my destination, I thought I smelled burning rubber (like stuck brake pads, maybe). But I wasn't sure. I'll have to check after toninghts journey home. Brakes work OK, there is no leaking brake fluid.
Question: A stuck brake wouldn't lead to a flashing engine light, would it? Or is that a red herring?
