Citroen Xsara Picasso - Central locking issue - armybike

I have a 02 reg Citroen Xsara Picasso 2l HDi and for some reason, when you lock the motor, either via the fob or key the rear passenger side door doesn't lock.

Also, if you lock the motor, all the other doors lock but when you try the problem door it opens and deactivates the central locking on the other doors/boot.

I have to hold my hands up and confess that my knowledge of cars is less then basic, but any advice would be greatly appreciated........but if you can make it in layman's terms it would help!
