is there any way of removing the speed restrictor from my transit mini bus. wont go past 60mph

No, it's illegal and if VOSA stop you and find out, the penalties are very severe.

It may not be illegal, depending on the class and age of vehicle.

the bus was a 16 seat but has had 8 removed and is being used as a spacious 8 seat taxi. 3.5 tonne 2.5 140 bhp i belive.

On the techinal side,the limiter can be removed ,but only with suitable equipment via the 16 pin diagnostic socket.hth
