04 1.6 EML Intermittent - tigerprems
For a couple of months the EML has been coming on intermittently, more in town use rather than on motorways etc. Had fault checked at both independent and dealer and both times told rear o2 sensor (have replaced this) and fan not working speed3 although it is. Each occasion charged for diagnostics and told engine running ok. Still get EML (or Bob as we've taken to calling it) coming on then off with no apparent pattern - tends not to come on when on long run eg motorway or out of town or until engine warm. Temperature gauge fluctuates but stays between 1/4 and 1/2 way points on any journey. Is it EMU fault? Is Bob destined to stay in our lives?
