What car is easy to get in and out of?

My partner has been diagnosed with cancer and finds it very difficult to step in and out of her Mercedes C220 CDI. We're looking for a car that would be off the ground allowing easier access. She enjoys driving and can reach 18,000 miles a year.

Sorry to hear about your partner's diagnosis. I'd be looking for a crossover SUV. The Kia Sportage is a really good car - easy to drive and easy to get in and out of. It'll be reliable, too. For that mileage, I'd recommend the new 1.6-litre diesel engine.
