01. Intermittant fault when using wipers - Gary1
My sons girlfriend has a 2001 Ford Ka. When she uses the windscreen wipers the engine cuts out. This is an intermittent problem but as we live in wales this is a big problem. Any idea's would be welcome.

I might be worth checking the earth points; some Ka's had one by the passenger's seatbelt reel.

Hi,

I agree about the earth problem, but i would be more inclined to check all the earth points in the engine bay to check for corrosion and/or loose/broken connector.
From memory, there should be two or three seperate earthing points within the engine bay alone.
