On the Darlington ring road there a few relativly small (but not Mini) Roundabounts, and as the traffic is heavy ques build up on the left hand side, so you get people who go down onto the right handside (as if to turn right) and then when they get onto the roundabout cut accross to go straight on.

"If she was map reading then her passenger could have done that for her."
A woman reading a map !! ??
I live in a village with a quite narrow road having severe 'calming' humps, cars parked both side, a blind bend and then duck ponds both sides of the road. On Monday afternoon I went through at 20 mph, over the humps and looking under the cars for children, round the bend at 20 mph looking for the ducks which tend to walk across in scores. Then, I was jolted by an angry toot from an Audi driver behind me, wanting me to go faster. I was unusually happy that day, and didn't even think evil of him.

I once got tooted at in a Devon lane while on my bike for not squeezing into a hedge for an Audi driver and instead riding on to the nearest passing space.
He ended up sitting behind me for the next 2 miles as I cheerfully wobbled my way along in the lowest gear I could find. He got progressively more irate, and I was hoping he'd follow me down the drive into the yard where I was going to let rip from the safely of the house, but sadly he floored it and roared off.
