Mondeo Keys - Don Vito
I'm picking up a 2001 Mondeo Zetec next week and have a question about the keys. The dealer gave me the main key with the 3 buttons (lock, unlock & unlock boot) along with a much smaller key with no buttons at all.
Should I expect 2 main keys? If I do and he hasn't got the other one, do they cost much to produce?

Mine came with the same - brand new, so, from my experience, you're not being "short-keyed".

If you want a spare remote control key you can pick the remote bit up on Ebay for about £20-£25 or less and buy the key bit from Ford dealer for about £4 (cut for free usually). you can then program the new remote and key (immobiliser) using your other two keys, as per the vehicle handbook.
