Interested in Volvo XC40 20/22 plate

Some mention 'mild hybrid' non plug in which generates lecky through braking.

Dont want a pure EV - long in tooth and feel uncomfortable from pure ICE as these extras surely add more to problems of servicing etc.

Should I be worried. It seems these mods are being forced onto us.

No, a mild hybrid system is simply a relatively cheap means for the manufacturer to reduce the overall emissions over their total vehicle sales.

It seems these mods are being forced onto us.

Are you being forced to buy new car?.

Long in the tooth stick with ICE a less complicated car but you seem to realise this in any case

HJ review indicates they're plug-in hybrids. Leccy wouldn't only be produced by braking, but by the ICE also.

By by volvo - too wide for safety with mirrors retracted to fit into garage.

AT 6ft 2 18 stone and not as nimble cannot sit in it without hitting head on door.

Pity as i liked the look of the xc40
