toyota prius 1.8 2011 - toyota brake bleeding - akbar

had a small fire , repaired wiring loom , front head light , all lights working now all electric functions .working

burned brake fluid bottle , replaced brake fluid bottle , now trying to bleed brakes using tis techstream , when connected picks up all dtc codes , as soon as i go to bleed brakes , the message comes up lost comminications.

dtc codes comming , c1202, c1252, c1256 ,c1365

the brakes go all , the way down no pressure , i belive if i can bleed the brakes , it would rectify above codes .

any ideas , is their a relay , or separate ecu , for brakes if so weir would i find relays , fuse

is their anyway i could bleed brakes , with out using techstream

Also at the drivers side wheel , their are three plugs 2 black , they fit together , the third a grey plug , i do not see any other plugs for it to connect to

any help would be appreciated many thanks

You could try reverse bleeding.

Often used with pain in the ass motorbike hydraulics.

You'll need a syringe and a bit of pipe.

starting at the brake f***hest from the master/ABS basically you inject fluid into the brake bleed nipple and gently empty the syringe.

then do the others.

bearing in mind unlike normal bleeding your filling the system so keep a close eye on the res'

very easy for it to overflow/spill out.
