The car had 67.5% damage when hit by 3rd party, liability accepted and sorted by onsurance companies. Accident was on June 15th. Three or so weeks ago they said it will be back Weds, came and went, no car. 'waiting for a part, Fri now. on and on this goes. 'It's ready.'..back yesterday promised, no car. Took curtesy car back yesterday on their word. For two months I'm driving round a new Merc S class arranged by the ins companies...v nice too..It's totally mad. It would have been ten K cheaper by my reckoning to write mine off, not that I'm moaning because of course the settlement never gets anywhere near the true value of your car. Awaiting events.
