How early can dealers register a new vehicle?
When is a main dealer able to register with the DVLA a brand new vehicle he has on order in my name?

Generally speaking, dealerships will be allocated a registration number for a new car from the DVLA as early as 14 days before it is delivered, however most dealerships will not register the vehicle until the day of delivery.
