Ford Fiesta 2006 - Buttons not working to input radio code - asteer17

Evening all,

Hope someone out there can help me - i need to input the code into my radio on my 06 Ford fiesta but the input buttons 1-2-3 do not work, only 4 does! Can anyone help me sort this problem out please :)

What model radio is it?Does it have the large volume control knob in the centre of the radio with 3 pre-sets each side?

Its the 6000CD model and yes as the presets and large volume button as u mentioned

If the pre-sets are not working,then it looks like the radio is at fault.Did it work before?

Not sure, bought the car along with the radio :/ is there no way of resolving this? Thanks for your help btw

Well,unless your radio code is 4444 ,you have had it.Get another radio from breakers or flea bay.

Thought as much :/ maybe I should go back to the garage where I bought it from, what's better in your opinion? Same ford radio or a branded one? Cheers

Standard Ford radio is a one for one swap.Anything else will need adaptor fascia and wiring hook up leads.
