Can you recommend a small, comfortable automatic to replace our Passat?
We currently own a Volkswagen Passat SE TDI 140 Auto which is now over three years old. We find it very comfortable but want to trade down to a smaller, equally comfortable car. What would you suggest? The car would not need to be diesel as I will not be doing the mileage that I do at the moment. I'd like a new car with four doors and an automatic gearbox.

Kia Venga 1.6 auto or Nissan Note 1.6 auto. Make sure the Note comes on 15-inch wheels rather than 16 or 17.
