Recommend a first car and insurance company for a new driver?
I am a 28-year-old female, living in North Yorkshire and looking to purchase my first car after just passing my driving test. Budget is my main priority. Concerning both vehicle and insurance, are there any models and insurers you can recommend?

Citroen C1, Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo, Nissan Pixo, Suzuki Alto. For insurance try Liverpool Victoria and NFU Mutual.
