How can I ensure our neighbours allow my mother wheelchair access to her home?

My mum is 93 and has a wheelchair. She has a side entrance to her home which we need for access, however neighbours insist on parking there and say we cant stop them. Is there any thing I can do ? The front of my mum's bungalow has no drive and is awkward for a wheelchair. I have looked at her deeds and it looks like this area is shared as her boundary.

It depends on who owns the land. If it is a shared area, it is more difficult. In any event your mother is likely to have right of access and that should mean with wheelchair access. Sometimes it helps to get a third party involved to negotiate an acceptable outcome. A neighbour having a word might be good, or social services or a local community support officer.
