What car do you suggest for an older driver needing high seats and room for a mobility scooter?
I need to buy a secondhand car for myself and would welcome advice. I’m a pensioner and I have arthritis in my leg and back so need a car with higher driving seats. It needs to have a fairly good boot as I’m getting a foldable mobility scooter too.
I don’t like very small cars. And don’t need a big car. I really can’t afford a new car. Budget, really no more than £10-11,000. Any recommendations, please? I was thinking a Berlingo but I am really open to advice.

Van-derived vehicles like the Citroen Berlingo are a good choice, because they are relatively compact but have higher seating as well as good-sized boots. You may also want to consider alternatives such as the Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Tourneo Connect or spacious small cars like the Honda Jazz.
