Should I fit Alutec wheels to my Mercedes-Benz GLC?
I have ordered a new Mercedes GLC, which will be delivered with normal UK tyres, R18 size. We need a set of wheels with winter tyres to make a ski holiday to the Swiss alps in December. Do Alutec wheels meet the safety specifications of this car? I plan to use Continental Continental WinterContact-TS-830P-SUV (with kerbing rib, SUV, N0, M+S marking)

As far as I know Alutec wheels are German and meet all TUV requirements. They're painted, then lacquered, so better protected. Makes sense to buy cold weather tyres with an anti-kerbing rib.
