Why does my Ford Focus keep going into limp mode?
I have a fault that comes and goes on my diesel Ford Focus. I could be driving along and everything is normal then all of a sudden the engine management light comes on and it goes into limp mode. Any idea what it could be?

Happens a lot with Focus diesels. Even happened on the launch of the Mk II in 2004. Can be electronic. Can be insufficient oil reaching the turbo bearing because the oil feed pipe is choked with carbon. Alternatively, if it has the Eolys system, could be running out of Eolys fluid.
