Must I declare an accident in a works van when renewing my own private insurance?

I recently had an accident in a works van so my boss accordingly made a claim to cover the cost of the damage. Do I have to declare this when I renew my own private insurance, as the claim was made on the works insurance?

Yes you do have to declare it. It affects the underwriting risk of insuring you.
