Tyre noise

How much noise reduction could I expect from swapping my 20 inch wheels to 19 inch and which tyre would you recommend?

Depends on which tyres are fitted. The more 'off road' the spec of the tyres, the noisier they will be. Pirelli Scorpion 19-inch (not 20-inch) were always the preference of Land Rover engineers (rather than Land Rover marketing people). These come in various grades, so for mainly road use you need Scorpion STRs rather than Scorpion ATRs.
