Running-in a new car when towing caravan

I have just bought a Kia Sorento KX2 Diesel manual. What mileage is required before towing a caravan 1500kg, and what diesel/additives do you recommend? Is it okay to tow while running-in?

Excellent vehicle. I'd give it at least 1000 miles to settle, running at varying speeds, say 65mph for 50 miles, then 70mph for 50 miles then 60mph for 25 miles then 70mph for 50 miles, etc, or simply running at the varying speeds you are forced to run at on UK motorways and A roads. Run solely on Shell V-Power Nitro Plus for the extra torque at low engine rpm. It will pay for itself in better mpg.
