What's the best family estate?
We currently have a Honda Civic but are expecting our second child soon so are looking for something a little bigger.
Our main criteria are:
- Under £18,000
- Good MPG (50+)
- Low road tax
- More luggage capacity (the Civic is listed as having 477 litres, so I think we're looking for at least 500)
Given this criteria, which is the best estate to look at?

A Civic Tourer: The Honda Civic Tourer features Honda’s innovative Magic Seat system and offers a class leading boot space of 624 litres with the rear seats in place, up to the window line. This expands to 1668 litres with the rear seats down and up to the roof.
