Yes, lots of excellent hybrid cars on the market right now. The latest Toyota Corolla 1.8 petrol hybrid is comfortable and quiet. It will also return 60+mpg, according to Real MPG submissions: www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/toyota/corolla-2019.
