There have been problems and problems are more likely than with a torque converter automatic, but this is not an epidemic. I would like to see VAG warrant its DSGs for five years and give buyers more confidence in them, as it has already done in Russia and China. The new Golf VII 2.0TDI has the more robust 6-speed wet clutch DSG.
