Which family car for rural use?
I am about to replace my 2005 Mercedes-Benz A180 CDI Auto. I have looked at the new A-Class but it is not for me, as the car is too low on the ground and the view out of the back is not clear. We are a family of two adults and three teenagers and live in the countryside, doing about 15,000 miles a year. Do you have any suggestions as to what I could replace it with? We have a budget of up to £25,000.

A new model Mercedes-Benz B-Class, if that isn't too obvious. But most MPVs do not have three separate seats across the centre row, and you will need them for growing teenagers. So I'd be thinking along the lines of a Ford S-Max, or maybe a Peugeot 5008.
