Replacing Xsara Picasso - what should I buy?
I am thinking about buying a used car to replace a 2008 Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 HDI. Due to numerous problems with turbo seals and injectors, the car has become too expensive to run.
I average 20,000 miles and want a car that will be economical and fit three child seats in the back. Can you help?

To fit three child seats across you're stuck with various offerings from PSA and the Ford S-Max. But if they don't all need child seats your options are much more open and you can include reliable models such as a Hyundai i30 or KIA cee'd 1.4 or 1.6CRDI SW, KIA Carens, Toyota Verso (Valvematic better than diesel), Mazda 5 (8v 1.6 diesel engine much improved over the 16v in your Picasso).
