buying a new SUV - what's best?

I want to buy a new SUV. Can you tell me which is the best for running costs and reliability?

They are all relatively expensive. I'd add the Mazda CX-5 and new Nissan Qashqai to the list, and if spending £35k+, the BMW F25 X3.

The more the thing costs and the more loaded with extras in the first place the more you will lose in £££s. Never think percentages. Only ever think in cold hard cash.
