Why does my car keep cutting out?
I’m having a lot of issues with my 2003 Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI. The car loses power at speed and the glow plug warning light flashes on and off. However, if I turn the engine on and off, the problem clears. Any ideas?

Your engine is going into limp mode, the reason is most likely one of the many sensors at fault and or it may be the glow plugs.
The best way forward is to have a diagnostic check carried out( cost around £50) which should then show by fault code ( ie P ---- 4 numbers) where the problem lies.
