Thanks to CarGiant for good customer service following a problem with a car I bought from them.

I had an alignment problem with a car I bought from CarGiant, which I had fixed independently, then wrote to CarGiant. The response was:

“Thank you for your email and sorry that you have had to report concerns with your vehicle. Unfortunately wheel alignment is not part of the 114 point inspection. Our inspection is similar to a MoT test and consists of checking the safety items of the vehicle such as, brakes, seat belts, tyres, lights, fluid levels etc. CarGiant has a dedicated customer services department, which includes a team of advisors and technicians who are best placed to resolve your concerns and provide a high standard of service to all our customers. Our aim is to resolve our customers concerns as quickly as possible, therefore, can I ask you to supply us with a copy of the repair invoice and once received I will arrange for a cheque to be raised and posted to you.”

Excellent service. You would not get this resolved so quickly, personally and politely by 90 per cent of franchised dealers.
