Volvo XC60 or Hyundai ix35?
I am thinking of buying a Volvo XC60 because it’s the only vehicle that I can fit a set of golf clubs and an electric trolley into with the seats up. I have seen a 58 plate D5 manual with only 22,000 on the clock for £22,000. Would this be a good buy, or should buy a new D3 model? The fuel economy for both appears to be around 40mpg. What about the Hyundai ix35 in AWD? How would you rate the two?

The Volvo XC60 diesels are all belt cam. The newer D3 is simply a lower capacity D5 but they are quite nice to drive with more road feel than an ix35. Often www.drivethedeal.com has new ones at substantial discounts. Hyundai ix35s come with a full-sized spare wheel under the load floor, while the KIA equivalent is the KIA Sportage.
