Am I getting good enough fuel economy?

I can only get 55.8 mpg out of my BMW 1 Series after 2000 miles. Do you think it could get higher?

I have averaged 64mpg over 7,000 miles in an F30 320dED and I've seen 82mpg over 250 miles on the meter, so the answer is yes.
