Can you recommend a nearly new family hatch?
My wife has owned a Honda Jazz 1.4 from new for eight years and is looking for a replacement that is quieter, more comfortable and fuel efficient. The three contenders are the BMW 1 Series (petrol), Audi A3 1.4 TFSI or a Ford Focus Titanium 1.0 (125). We are buying nearly new and are not sure which car would be best, can you help?

None of the contenders are more fuel efficient than the Jazz. But an A3 1.4TSI offers a very smooth and satisfying drive, particularly the 140ACT and you can get them on 16-inch wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres.
