Warranty repair time: is five weeks (and counting) reasonable?

The driver's side of my 61-plate Nissan Navara Tekna Double Cab windscreen started misting up after five minutes driving - and there is an unusual odour in the cab. I took it to Nissan Wirral, who have now had the vehicle for five weeks, and they still cannot find what is causing the fault.

After getting no satisfaction from the dealer, I contacted Nissan UK. Their response is they have contacted the dealer, they cannot find what is causing the fault, and are still looking into it. I need the Navara for work and am getting very frustrated about how long this is taking. What are your thoughts on how much longer should I be expected to wait, and what are my options?

To add insult to injury, the Note courtesy car - too small for work but 'we don't provide like-for-like vehicles' got a puncture, and the lock nut key was missing. 1 hour later, two technicians from Nissan Wirral turned up with no lock nut keys but a can of tyre foam. This got us 100m before the tyre was flat again. They then gave me a lift back to the dealer and I am currently using a Renault Clio.

Reads to me that a mouse has crawled into the ventilation trunking and died there, blocking the air supply and creating the smell.
