Insurance declined because of address differences
I recently aquired insurance through Motorcycle direct. I was asked to send my driving licence in for validation. On doing so the insurance company are now refusing to insure the bike as the address on my D Licence is different to that of where the bike will be kept.
I keep the bike always at my parents address with my Father's as we ride together (he has a bike also) and the bike is registered at their address also. Apparantly the insurance wont cover me due to this. Why?

I don't know. Peculiarity of the insurers computer. Try some decent brokers.
