A-Class, 1 Series or A3?

Hello I was wondering which one of the following 3 cars would you say is the best: BMW 1-series, 2012 Audi A3, 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-class.

Early reviews have shown that the A-class has been a bit of a disappointment (which is a massive shame). And the Audi doesn't seem to drive as well as the BMW.

So is it the BMW which is best? Especially considering you can buy a nearly new model for about £17-18k.

Probably the new A3 with the 1.4TSI engine.
