Quiet family car
My current Honda Civic is due for change & I'm wondering which of the current similar models (Focus, etc) are the quietest, especially in respect of road noise. The Civic is great on good surfaces but gets annoyingly noisy once the surface deteriorates.

Caused by its flat bottom. Was always best on Michelin Pilot Primacy tyres. Currently, on the right 195/65 R15 Michelin Energy Saver tyres, a Megane is probably the quietest.
