Buying a car that's stood for a year
I have seen a 61 plate Jetta Mark 1 advertised at a VW dealer. Should I be concerned that this car was manufactured almost 12 months before first registration? The later model has a smaller boot which to us is a big disadvantage.

It's been sitting around for a year, so needs to be at a 2nd hand price rather than a 'new' Jetta price.
At least £5,000 less than a new one.
