A practical car for camping and cycling

We currently have a Nissan Qashqai, but are looking for a car with a more practical boot space. We do a lot of mountain biking and a lot of camping so often load the boot up with mountain bikes and camping equipment.

Budget is around £10k, I am considering a 4x4 or Pick-up, do you have any suggestions?

Best pick-up for £10k is an Isuzu Rodeo post late 2007 with the twin-chain-cam 2.5 I-TEQ diesel engine. The ride is awful but the seats are very comfortable, the engine is amiable and economical and it has one of the nicest gearshifts you will find.
