Armied and dangerous?

As summer seems to have now departed my thoughts turn to winter and more of that white stuff that had us hemmed up our road for 4 days. I rather like the idea of an Ex Military Landrover 90 Softtop as a spare vehicle which looking at specialised websites would seem to be good value at say £3,000. Would you think this is worth a bit of fun?

Not unless you're really into Land Rovers, and are happy join the club to find out how to maintain and fix them. It's winter tyres that get you out of the white stuff these days rather than four-wheel drive. Though obviously four wheel drive and winter tyres is best of the lot.
